Town Planning

The Practice is an expert planning consultancy in Ireland and Northern Ireland.

We offer a wide range of planning services including town planning advice surgery and submission of planning appeals, including oral and written representations in the north and south of Ireland.

Most of our planning appeals undertaken, whether on behalf of third or first parties, have been successful.

In addition, we prepare and advise on objections to planning proposals including case-making, site assessments and surveys; negotiation with officials, briefing of legal representatives and counsel and references to the Planning Directorate.

Other town planning services include expert submissions for Planning Enquiries, preparation of master plans for housing developments, land use plans, retailing, and recreational studies, quarrying submissions, project management of planning issues for domestic & commercial developments amongst others.

The Practice receives continual updates on planning law, planning decision cases and planning appeals from various sources including the Planning Appeals Commission for N.I, An Bord Pleanála for Ireland and the specialist sources of planning judgements such as Compass, Planning Law and Development Control Practice; as well as our regular Royal and Irish Town Planning Institutes journals.
